PRINCIPALS:

C. Mark DeGaetani - President / Writer / Producer / Director

Mark was born in Manhattan, the son of renowned mezzo soprano Jan DeGaetani. He began acting in junior high school and soon thereafter discovered an affinity for the written word. Author of fifteen short stories and ten screenplays, Mark is the creative force behind the production efforts at Rudderpost Films. Mark has appeared in several stage plays and two episodes of Fox Television's syndicated television series, America's Most Wanted. He has produced / directed several television commercials, a television pilot, and a documentary, and he has just released his debut award winning horror short, The Dollhouse, which he wrote, produced, and directed.

The Dollhouse was an Official Selection of the 2007 Terror Film Festival, where child phenom Christina Barlas (just six years old) won "Best Actress" for her remarkable performance as Lilly White. The Dollhouse was also screened as a finalist in the "Best Horror Mini Short" award category at the ShockerFest International Film Festival 2007, where Ms. Barlas also won the "Rising Star" award. Additionally, The Dollhouse was an Official Selection at the Atlanta Horror Fest 2007, the Spooky Movie Film Festival 2007, the Sacramento Horror Film Festival 2007, the Thriller! Chiller! Film Festival 2007, and the Audience Choice Awards Film Festival 2007.

Doug McHenry (Krush Groove, New Jack City, The Brothers, Thin Line Between Love and Hate), has recently attached to direct / produce Mark's feature screenplay, GETTIN' OVER. This project is currently financing and is expected to go into production in 2010.

Tom Paul - Vice President / Executive

Beginning his career as a boom operator in 1990, Tom has since worked as a location sound recordist, production sound mixer, supervising sound editor, foley mixer, composer, sound designer, and sound re-recording mixer. He has developed into one of the most highly sought after sound designers and re-recording mixers in the New York independent film scene. Tom has compiled an impressive list of

Francesca West Watson - Director / Development & Acquisitions

Francesca is a highly organized executive administrator with more than 20 years of experience across a diverse range of industries. She has established herself as an accomplished business executive and project manager over the course of a career that includes five years in Washington DC as executive assistant to a former Reagan-appointed diplomat and foreign policy expert. Francesca is also a talented musician and writer who has survived three typhoons, numerous blizzards, several hurricanes, two earthquakes, and one volcanic eruption. Her unique blend of creative and strategic thinking, combined with an off-beat sense of humor, makes her an invaluable addition to the growing team at Rudderpost Films. (In fact, nothing much happens at Rudderpost without the wave of Francesca’s hand.)

Bob Pierre - Manager / Art Department

Bob was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. He was drawing before he could write and has won several art contests. Bob is an accomplished graphic designer whose unique and stylized designs are certain to be familiar to all New Yorkers in the years to come. Bob has written three screenplays and aspires to film directing.
